Economy

[edit]

The graphic shows around a third of the economy involves the export of computer parts or broadcasting accessories. Nothing in the text supports this improbable sounding claim.

Could any editor expand, please?

CO2 emissions

[edit]

Wikipedia has done a fine job of presenting country's various demographic and other data in a nice table at the beginning of each wiki entry for each country. These tables include things like language, religion, GDP, population, etc etc.

In this day and age of climate change, a highly important fact now for all of us, is a country's CO2 emissions.

With this in mind, Wikipedia should now report absolute CO2 emissions as well as CO2 emissions per capita, in this same data table, for each country.

If we want to reverse climate change, then we must draw attention to climate change issues wherever possible. Posting this data along with other important information in all country's tables of data in their respective wiki articles would be an easy and helpful step in the right direction.

11.5 years

[edit]

That's how long it appears this article has incorrectly stated Palau is a unitary state. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 11:02, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction. 4th smallest country?

[edit]

It is written in the introduction: "It has a total area of 466 square kilometers (180 sq mi), making it the fourth smallest country in the world." I count 15 country members of UN which are smaller than Palau. List of countries and dependencies by area. So, I guess this statement is wrong Cazaux (talk) 13:11, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
